For this page, the background paper did a lot of the work! It was the perfect colour scheme for documenting a very special family weekend in London for my sister’s 50th birthday! We stayed in China Town, did a theatre trip to watch Moulin Rouge and had Sunday lunch at the Shard! All in all, an epic weekend to celebrate! Lots of pinks and reds in my photos 💗

I love to use background pieces like the JWCF 1460 Textured Lattice. It’s the perfect background for adding layers to your page. You could distress it or age it with inks to work with different photos and pages. It could also be folded around a page in a mini book and used with mixed media or stencilled through with inks to make a background. I’m sure you can think of lots more ways to use this very versatile cutfile and we’d love you to share your ideas.

Hi Twilighters 👋🏻, Nicola here and I'm working with 49 and Market Beach Vibes again for my DT layout today, documenting another photo from my dad's wedding in Antigua.

I’ve loved creating die cuts with these florals! I used a range of Sizzix floral dies cut from white cardstock and then used Distress Inks in pinks, orange and yellow. Once layered, I created clusters in an L shape. I mounted the photo and added some watered down 49 and Market reinkers to the background (this background paper is from Vicki Boutin’s Artful Moments collection pack). I then added some enamel dots and a chipboard title to complete the layout.

Hello everyone! For my DT spot today I’m using the lovely JWCF 1514 Embroidery Hoops cutfile.
I’ve been collecting/rescuing old photos for a long time. I love the social history, the fashion and sometimes the story connected to the photos. I’ve even managed to reunite some with their family.
For this layout I’ve used one of the lovely photos from my collection and added some floral embellishments. I also found some cross stitch style papers.
The hoops make lovely frames for your photos or vintage projects.

This purple patterned paper was perfect for a recent trip to a lavender farm. I fussy cut the patterned paper to create a border and then cut strips and used a border punch to make a layered centre piece to mount my photo. I added lots of floral ephemera and some enable dots to finish the layout.

Whether your summer is full of travel or filled with simple everyday moments, we’d love to see you document these memories!

Our challenge is open to everyone in the group and closes on Sunday 6th September at 5pm to mark the end of our scrapbook retreat weekend!

Upload your completed project to the challenges album in this Facebook group to be in with a chance of winning a fabulous crafty prize that will be posted to you.

Challenge Rules:
* You can combine our challenges with other challenges on other groups
* Newly created layouts/ projects only
*Challenges can be layouts, cards, mixed media - anything goes as we love all crafts!
* Upload your finished layout to the correct challenge album
* One entry per person
* Please do not use cutfiles by other companies. We would love you to use Jennywren Cutfiles if you can!
* Upload finished projects to the albums by Sunday 6th September 5pm UK time, to be in with a chance of winning a prize (winners will be drawn at random)

Today I’m sharing a page I created using the lovely JWCF 518 Selfie Title. I backed it all in one colour to stand out from a very colourful background paper. I added lots of stickers from my stash and layered up behind my photo with a tag and more stickers.
