Turin Tourist Day

Hi Twilighters šš», Nicola here. I hope you managed to get some crafty time for International Scrapbooking Day yesterday (all I managed to do was order some new stamps, but I'm counting that as crafty time š).
My DT post for today is a journal spread rather than a layout - I've combined "Tourist" from JWCF 1413 Explore Sightseeing Title and Offset and "Day" from JWCF 747 Title 8 and Offset (both available as digital only) and stamped Turin in some airport board-style stamps from Blue Puppy Studio to build my title "Turin Tourist Day".

Back in 2016, I travelled to Turin a few times for work. On the final trip, they couldn't get me a flight home until the evening of the next day, so I had most of the day to just wander round the city (I went to a museum and then walked to find several of the filming locations from The Italian Job), hence it was my "tourist day". This was before I took up scrapping and I never got round to going back to do the photos, so I thought I'd put together an after-the-fact travel journal for that day instead.

I rubbed the pages with Ranger 49 and Market Cappuccino ink to give it that old paper look, the background stamping is a mix of Cappuccino and Salted Caramel, and the ephemera and rub-ons are mostly a mix of Stamperia collections. I love how this came out and now I've got the first spread under my belt, hopefully I'll actually finally go back n do the photos.

There's lots more crafty inspiration to be found over on the Twilight Crop and Craft and Jennywren Cutfiles Facebook groups (including an International Scrapbooking Day challenge!), @twilightcraftsuk on Instagram, and twilightcc8823 on Pinterest.
Happy crafting š x
