Trebarwith Memories

Hello everyone,

I have the privilege of posting my first layout for Twilight Create & Crop. As a guest designer, I hope to post as often as possible but let's start with my first layout.

I used 2 sheets of Ciao Bella paper named 'The Sound of Summer', which is available in the shop. And one piece of white cardstock for the base.

I began this layout by trimming a few inches from one of the blue woodgrain papers, which I distressed & glued onto the sheet of white cardstock. I tore a small piece at the top left to add the life buoy, which I threaded with twine.

Then I fussy cut lots of the beach elements & frames from the other side of the second paper. There were so many to choose from!

I glued the photo into place & framed it with white & woodgrain paper. I added the fussy cut pieces & a phrase, which I placed below the photo.

The journalling was written on another frame placed next to the photo.

To finish, I added more details using items from my own stash, including the colourful alphabet, the title, seagulls & starfish. Enamel dots & a double outline were the finishing touch.

If you want a beach layout that's easy to make, this is the paper for you!

Happy scrapping everyone,

Giselle
