Little Star

Hi everyone Denise here, one of the design team members with my first blog post for Twilight Crafts.

I’ve used the lovely ‘Little Star’ cutfile JWCF638 on my layout And the Vicki Boutin ‘Fernwood’ collection

I love fussy cutting and also like to stitch on my layouts occasionally too, so firstly I pierced a pattern across the top and bottom of my 12x12 white card which had been cut down to 11 1/2 x 11 1/2inches, then stitched the design with some black thread.

I backed the stars and circles of the cutfile with papers from the collection, and fussy cut some butterflies from one of the papers.I loved the cute stag that was featured and decided to cut him out and place in one of the circles.

Next I added two colourful strips to the top and bottom of a plain paper from the collection then added the white stitched card.

I mounted The cutfile onto foam pads and added to the layout with my photo and some butterflies.

I coloured in the words with a shimmery gel pen from my stash.

To finish off I flicked some shimmery spritz around the edges.
