Let's Go (Mario style)

Hi Twilighters 👋🏻, Nicola here and I'm breaking into the stunning 49 and Market's Artful Moments for my DT layout today - my boy's a huge Sonic and Super Mario fan and the moment I saw this paper (Starters 9) on their reveal video, I instantly thought "it's the Rainbow Road! That's gotta be a Mario layout!"

JWCF 892 Let's Go (digital / physical) made the perfect title (if you're not familiar with the games, one of the things Mario says a lot is "let's-a-go") to go with the paper to document photos from taking him to see the Super Mario Galaxy movie over Easter. He'd been so excited for the release for months n he insisted we go to the very first showing!

I embellished with some of the stars from the chipboard bits pack, some Artful Moments rub-ons and Irresistible rub-ons, and some homemade Mario-themed ephemera.

And because there weren't enough in-jokes in this layout already, I couldn't resist adding the "You're Doing Great!" rub-on phrase as that's a line in the first movie n it made me chuckle when I realised it was in the pack.
