Happy Birthday

Good morning everyone

I'm back sharing my first page of 2023 documenting a recent night out celebrating my grandsons 16th birthday (how is that even possible?!)

Of course birthdays call for balloons so this cut file was perfect.

To start I stamped and stencilled my back ground card in Tim Holtz inks, Fossilised Amber and Weathered Wood

I backed the file in Simple Stories The Good Stuff papers and then decided to add some twine to give the balloons some texture. I tied the twin to make the bows and then stuck down 2 lengths on each of the cut file 'stems' to create the string.

Once I'd backed my photo I added a few layers underneath it to pull all the colours together.

Adding in a couple of embellishments, a Bramble Fox 'Happy Birthday' Perspextive, some Nuvo Drops and journalling , my page was done.
