Hi Twilighters, Nicola here with my latest DT layout for you today.
One of our son's big obsessions is Fireman Sam and he has said many times he wants to be a firefighter when he grows up, so JWCF 959 Fireman (available as digital or precut) was a must-have cutfile for me to document the tour of the local fire station my husband arranged for his 5th birthday.
I decided to go blue marble for the background to make the red n yellow pop, plus it reminded me of water (fireman's hoses, etc). I also think primary colours are great for fun kiddy-themed layouts like this one.
I've also included our son's personalised birthday badge (I used hubby's wire cutters to take the pin off then attached with foam dots like a big flair button - waste not, want not) and then followed the stars through from that for my finishing touches.
