Hey Twilight friends, Emma here to share a colourful 12x12 layout using the Criss Cross Grid 2 Stitched cutfile. I began with choosing my pattern papers, picked the thread colour to match then back-stitched in rainbow order.

Next I cut strips of the patterned paper slightly smaller than the stitched shapes & adhered them to my page using foam tape to add dimension. I used a combination of ephemera & fussy cut flowers to surround my central photo.
I really wanted to use the 'explore' thicker for my title, but because it was dark like my photo it would disappear. So, I adhered it to some white cardstock & fussy cut around the edge leaving a white boarder, this really helped it to stand out.

To finish, I added a sprinkling of rainbow coloured gems & added my journalling to a green label just below my title. I absolutely love background cutfiles like this, they are so versatile & will suit any subject or theme, it's a great cutfile to have in your scrappy arsenal!
Much Love Em x
