Day Trip

Hi everyone

Today I'm sharing my latest page with you, documenting our family camping trip last year and our day trip to Scarborough. Using the "Day Trip" cut file JWCF9

As the paper was preprinted with the mixed media I wanted to try and create some depth, texture and interest to the page.

I started by finding coordinating thread and stitching the preprinted stitches on the paper.

Adding in some handmade pinwheels, buttons and word strips etc.

I knew I didn't want my title to be too big but I also knew I wanted it to stand out. So with this in mind I decided to cut it several times. Once I'd done that, I stacked and glued them all together, to create a 3D effect.
