Kelly here with a pre-planned and scheduled post as I am currently somewhere in deepest darkest Norway for my Christmas holidays!
As I am embracing the Christmas spirit and I absolutely fell in love with this month's subscription kit I have created a page using only the cutfile, papers and embellishments found in the kit. I did add ink, Cosmic Shimmer Mist and Nuvo sparkles from my stash.
First I rough inked my cutfile with green distress ink to give it a bit of tree texture and the trunk in brown. I then went to town with my Cosmic Shimmer Mists to create the baubles. The spray was too fine and frankly unpredictable! I unscrewed the top and used the spray pipe to create drops, dipping back into the spray as required. This allowed me to precisely create colour where I wanted it to be.
I used Nuvo Christmas Sparkles on the star to add a bit more sparkle
I then backed the cutfile with the pink gingerbread paper once everything was dry. Who says Christmas can't be pink! How cute are these Twilight gingerbread men embellishments? I also love these Alphabet stickers
