Today I'm sharing my page using the fab Clouds Stitch Cut File - JWCFST 5
I've documented a picture from our weekend away with friends, in Torquay. We always have the best weather. This time though we had torrential rain for around 2 hours on our last day.
It didn't spoil our fun though as we walked along the harbour and had a look in the shops.
I decided not to cut a whole page of clouds. I started by doing some mixed media on my page to reflect the sky in the photo. I waited for that to dry and then cut my file. Stopping my Cricut when I'd got the clouds I wanted. Using variegated embroidery thread I then stitched my clouds.
The papers and ephemera I've used were gifted to me from a lovely friend, they're Print Shop by Vicki Boutin. I absolutely love this collection its one of my faves (along side Simple Stories Wildflower)
