O Christmas Tree

Hi everyone

Something a little different today. I'm taking part in a December Stories class over in another group. I've decided to include in my album, the run up to Christmas too, which includes pictures from November.

A few weeks ago I went for coffee with a friend at a local Bakery and this was the tree in the foyer. Isn't it stunning.

My December album is 6x8 so I've created this page for my album and my DT project featuring the fab NEW Christmas Tree cut file.

Where is the file I hear you ask?! Well I decided to cut it from transparency in the size I needed and make it in to a stencil. I'd actually done it on card to begin with but my mat was super sticky and the card ripped. However all was not lost as I salvaged a few of the Christmas trees.

Using the stencil I inked the trees in red and then offset the stencil slightly and inked again in green.

I then inked the salvaged cardstock trees using a gold ink and adding them to the page to add a little interest.

Completing my page with a few embellishments and ephemera from the Pink Fresh Studio Paper Collection 'Holiday Magic'

If you haven't seen our new Christmas cutfiles yet, check out our Instagram and Facebook page, where along with details of the new files you'll also find more inspiration and ideas.

Happy creating

Jak xo
